Cass Regional adds Dr. Danny Carroll as new employed orthopedic surgeon

Dr. Danny Carroll, orthopedic surgeon | Cass Medical Center Harrisonville

Cass Regional Medical Center has announced that Dr. Danny Carroll, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with more than three decades of experience, has joined Cass Regional Orthopedics as an employed physician.

Dr. Carroll has been associated with the Cass Regional medical staff since the 1980s through various partnerships. He will work alongside Dr. Petersen as part of the orthopedic team. According to the announcement, "Dr. Carroll has been a valued member of the Cass Regional medical staff since the 1980s through various partnerships, and we are thrilled to welcome him as part of our orthopedic team alongside Dr. Petersen."

His schedule includes seeing patients at Cass Regional Orthopedics in Rock Haven Medical Mall on Tuesdays and Fridays, and at Belton Regional Medical Center Medical Office Building on Monday and Thursday afternoons.

Dr. Carroll earned his medical degree and completed an internship at the University of Arizona before serving in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps. He finished his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Missouri–Kansas City and holds board certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

He is experienced in joint replacements, fracture management, athletic injuries, arthroscopic procedures, and musculoskeletal care. Dr. Carroll has practiced for many years in south Kansas City and is known for his approach to patient care.

"Dr. Carroll is recognized for his personalized and empathetic approach to patient care. He believes in treating each patient as a unique individual, tailoring his medical approach to meet specific needs and ensuring a comprehensive, compassionate experience," according to the release.

The hospital stated: "Cass Regional is proud to officially welcome Dr. Carroll to our team and looks forward to the continued excellence he brings to our orthopedic services and community."
