Dr. Miller and Dr. Joyce, in collaboration with the Family Care Clinics and Surgical Clinic, are working with Bates County Memorial Hospital to organize a food drive for the benefit of the local Food Pantry and Carpenter’s Cup.
The organizers are asking community members to donate non-perishable food items or make monetary contributions. Donations will support both organizations in meeting local needs. Checks for financial donations should be made payable to Carpenter’s Cup, which provides hot meals each week to people in need. Cash or check donations can be given directly to Tricia Cook at High Street Family Care Clinic, Crystal Dizney at Nursery Street Family Care Clinic, or Carol Stroud at the Surgical Clinic.
Collected non-perishable food will be divided between the Food Pantry and Carpenter’s Cup. Donation drop-off locations include High Street Family Care Clinic at 706 S. High Street, Butler; Nursery Street Family Care Clinic at 617 W. Nursery Street, Butler; and Surgical Clinic at 615 W. Nursery Street, Butler on the second floor.
