Rep. Mark Alford, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Missouri's 4th district since 2023, has been vocal on social media regarding various political issues and developments. Born in Baytown, Texas, Alford currently resides in Lake Winnebago and holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin.

On March 13, 2025, Rep. Alford expressed his views on the motivations behind Progressive Democrats' actions regarding government shutdowns. He stated: "America, it’s obvious: The Progressive Democrats literally have no original or authentic message for shutting down the government other than they can’t stand Trump."

The following day, March 14, 2025, he extended gratitude towards federal deregulation efforts by key figures such as Brendan Carr and President Biden. Later that same day, Rep. Alford shared insights from his visit to a significant industrial facility in Nevada, Missouri. He remarked on its contributions to innovation and commercial graphics: "3M plant is renowned for its global commercial graphics and innovation, embodying the company's ethos of continuous invention. During our tour of their 769,000-square-foot facility situated on 229 acres in the heart of Nevada, Missouri..."
