Rep. Mark Alford, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri's 4th district since 2023, has been actively sharing his views and legislative actions on social media. Born in Baytown, Texas, in 1963, Alford now resides in Lake Winnebago and holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin.

On March 11, 2025, Rep. Alford expressed support for a Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution led by Rep. Mike Carey aimed at reversing an IRS rule concerning digital assets. He stated: "The House just passed @RepMikeCarey's CRA resolution to overturn one Biden's 11th hour attacks on the digital asset ecosystem--the IRS' DeFi Broker Rule." He emphasized the importance of protecting American decentralized finance (DeFi) projects and preventing blockchain innovation from relocating overseas.

On March 12, 2025, Alford highlighted recent economic developments with optimism about bipartisan efforts to reduce costs for Americans: "This week: Core CPI, a key inflation index, reached its lowest level in FOUR YEARS Egg prices dropped to lower than when Trump took office Gas prices fell to their lowest level since March 2021". He attributed these changes to actions by both President Biden and House Republicans.

Later that day, Alford commented on stock market trends and public sentiment towards economic policies: "While the stock market is not a reflection of the real economy our constituents feel every day, recent market corrections aren't indicative of the optimism Americans have for Republicans' pro-growth, America First agenda as I said yesterday on @ABCNews." He suggested that despite fluctuations in financial markets, there remains confidence in Republican-led initiatives aimed at economic growth.
