On Sunday, March 16, former Raymore-Peculiar Senior High School standout Hayden Kurtz’s current college team, the Southern Illinois Salukis, won 8-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois State Redbirds.

The game took place at Charlotte West Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Redbirds this season.

The Salukis’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 3 p.m. at Valpo Softball Complex against Valparaiso Beacons.
