On Sunday, March 2, former Raymore-Peculiar Senior High School standout Hayden Kurtz’s current college team, the Southern Illinois Salukis, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Purdue Boilermakers.

The game took place at Charlotte West Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Boilermakers this season.

The Salukis’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 4 p.m. at Charlotte West Stadium against Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons.
