On Sunday, March 2, former Raymore-Peculiar Senior High School standout Hayden Kurtz’s current college team, the Southern Illinois Salukis, won 16-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons.

The game took place at Charlotte West Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Mastodons this season.

The Salukis’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 1:50 p.m. at Charlotte West Stadium against Wisconsin Badgers.
