In a post dated May 16, 2025, Alford expressed appreciation for the Marshall Police Department, recognizing their service to "approximately 13,642 citizens and approximately 1400 college students who attend Missouri Valley College." He concluded his message with gratitude by stating: "THANK YOU, Marshall PD! #NationalPoliceWeek".
