Rep. Mark Alford, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Missouri’s 4th district, has shared several statements via social media that highlight his focus on law enforcement and veterans' affairs. Alford succeeded Vicky Hartzler in 2023 and has since been actively engaged in various legislative efforts.

On May 15, 2025, Rep. Alford expressed gratitude to the law enforcement personnel of his district, MO-04, by sharing a video that showcases their commitment. He stated: "Thank you to our heroes in MO-04... Check out this video to see why brave men & women answer the call to law enforcement."

Later that day, Alford addressed the needs of veterans for quality service from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). He emphasized collaboration with Secretary Collins to enhance care standards for veterans: "It's very simple: our nation's veterans deserve top-notch service from the VA... We are honored and excited to work with Secretary Collins who will do everything in his power to ensure that America's heroes are provided the highest quality care."

In another post on May 15, 2025, he highlighted ongoing legislative efforts by House Republicans aimed at supporting police officers across the nation: "House Republicans are working on and voting on legislation that supports and honors our nation's brave police officers."

Mark Alford was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and resides in Lake Winnebago. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in 1988.
