Rep. Mark Alford, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri's 4th district since 2023, shared several updates through his social media platform. Alford, who succeeded Vicky Hartzler and was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963, is actively engaging with his constituents and promoting local events.

On May 9, 2025, Rep. Alford invited the public to tune in to radio broadcasts on KCMO (95.7FM & 710AM) in Kansas City at 1:00 pm and Key Radio (89.3FM) in Osage Beach at both 7:30 am and 7:30 pm. He also mentioned that those unable to listen live could access the broadcasts anytime on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube.

Later that day, Alford reflected on a visit to Redwing Coffee in Warsaw, MO. The event featured a spirited morning discussion with residents from Benton County concerning potential cuts to NOAA and the National Weather Service as well as international food programs.

On May 10, Rep. Alford expressed pride while presenting certificates of Congressional recognition to Jaxson Deckard and Drake Murrell for their appointments to the Air Force and Naval Academies respectively. In his post, he conveyed admiration for their achievements and anticipation for their future contributions to national service.
