In a series of recent tweets, U.S. Congressman Mark Alford, representing Missouri's 4th district, shared his experiences and thoughts on several matters. These included a community luncheon event, political challenges, and reflections on Easter. Alford has been serving in Congress since 2023, succeeding former member Vicky Hartzler. Born in Baytown, Texas, in 1963, Alford resides in Lake Winnebago and holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin.

On April 26, 2025, Alford expressed gratitude following the annual Cass County Coalition of Chambers (CCCC) Luncheon in Harrisonville. Alford tweeted, "The annual Cass County Coalition of Chambers (CCCC) Luncheon in Harrisonville was an amazing opportunity, and we were honored to present a 'state of the Capitol' address. Thanks for having us!"

Later that day, he raised questions about political issues and party agendas. In his words, he tweeted, "Why is the far Left is freaking out over the deportation of an illegal alien who is a member of a VERY dangerous gang? What is the House going to put on the floor to uphold the America-First mandated agenda next week? What did we do during the district work period?"

On April 27, 2025, in a more reflective tweet, Alford discussed religious beliefs, recounting a biblical narrative. He stated, "This is the story of the first Easter evening. Fear had consumed the disciples, like it probably would any of us. But Jesus stood in their midst, showing them his wounds, and spoke peace over their fears. No anxious heart can keep his love and grace away."

Mark Alford has been influential in the U.S. Congress since 2023, representing Missouri's 4th District. Born in 1963, he is a University of Texas at Austin graduate and resides in Lake Winnebago.
