On April 25, 2025, Rep. Alford expressed gratitude for the warm reception he received at the Route 66 Museum in Lebanon, MO. He acknowledged, "Thanks for having us Gary Sosniecki, Mark Spangler, Cliff Claxton, and Lebanon/Laclede County Route 66 Society President Bruce Owen."

In another update on April 26, 2025, Rep. Alford reflected on his travel across his constituency. "1000 MILES: Great to be home and on the road in MO-04 during this district work period," he stated. Rep. Alford has been active in Congress since 2023, succeeding Vicky Hartzler. Born in Baytown, Texas in 1963, Alford has roots in Missouri, residing in Lake Winnebago. A University of Texas at Austin alumnus, Alford remains committed to addressing the needs of his district.
