Rep. Mark Alford, currently serving in the U.S. Congress for Missouri's 4th district, shared news about local businesses and his activities in a series of posts on April 24, 2025. Later, Alford tweeted about visiting Fort Leonard Wood, expressing enthusiasm about the location with the statement "Checking out the gear at Fort Leonard Wood, Happy #AlmostFriday! ". This post reflects his engagement with the military community in his district.

In another tweet, Alford acknowledged Thai House, recognized as the Small Business of the Month in February. He posted, "Got to stop by our February Small Business of the Month, Thai House! Owned by Chutiwan and Fort Leonard Wood Army Veteran Mike Tracy, this food truck gives MO-04 a taste of authentic Thai food and is an inspiring representation of the American dream!". By highlighting this enterprise, Alford celebrates both cultural diversity and entrepreneurial spirit within his district.
