Rep. Mark Alford, representing Missouri's 4th district in the U.S. Congress, has been vocal about his support for the House GOP budget resolution and the policies under the Republican leadership. Since replacing former Congress member Vicky Hartzler in 2023, Alford has consistently communicated his legislative priorities and perspectives on national issues through social media channels.

On April 9, 2025, Alford tweeted about former President Trump's stance on the budget resolution. He stated, "President Trump has been CRYSTAL CLEAR. NOW is the time to pass our @HouseGOP budget resolution and deliver the America-First Agenda."

Later the same day, Alford highlighted the significance of the budget resolution in restoring fiscal discipline, tweeting, "Our @HouseGOP budget resolution is a critical step toward fiscal sanity. Together, we will: Cutting bureaucratic bloat Redirecting funds to secure our border, boost defense, and slash wasteful foreign aid to align with America-First priorities. Let's get this passed."

In another tweet on April 10, 2025, he addressed economic issues under the Republican leadership, writing, "Under Republican leadership, inflation is dropping rapidly. @POTUS and @HouseGOP's policies are making everyday life more affordable for hardworking American families."

Alford, who was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and graduated with a BA from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988, resides in Lake Winnebago and has been an active member of congress since 2023, focusing on issues relevant to his constituents in Missouri.
