Bates County Memorial Hospital (BCMH) will collaborate with the Community Blood Center (CBC) to conduct a Spring Blood Drive on April 16, 2025. The event aims to support the community and the Kansas City area by providing access to essential blood supplies.

The blood drive is scheduled from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the BCMH Education Center located at 615 W. Nursery Street, Butler, MO. Attendees are advised to eat well and stay hydrated before donating and must bring a valid photo ID. Although walk-ins are welcome if space permits, appointments are encouraged.

For those interested in participating, appointments can be made online or by calling 1-877-468-6844. For medical eligibility inquiries, individuals can contact 1-800-688-0900.

"Every drop counts—your donation could be the lifeline someone desperately needs," said a spokesperson for BCMH. They emphasized that "every donation makes a difference—join us in saving lives this spring."

The CBC is the primary blood supplier for BCMH and plays a crucial role in ensuring that lifesaving blood is available when needed most.
