Rep. Mark Alford, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Missouri’s 4th district since 2023, shared a series of tweets highlighting various topics of interest. Born in Baytown, Texas, in 1963 and currently residing in Lake Winnebago, Alford graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

On March 19, 2025, Rep. Mark Alford expressed gratitude towards notable figures and organizations for their role in a recent rescue mission involving American astronauts. He stated: "Thank you @elonmusk, @SpaceX, & @NASA for rescuing our heroic American astronauts!"

The following day, March 20, 2025, Alford voiced his support for educational reform through decentralization. He remarked: "Education belongs to parents and local communities–not Washington bureaucrats. Trump’s Executive Order to dismantle the Department of Education is a step toward school choice, accountability, and putting students first."

In another tweet on March 20, Rep. Alford detailed his visit to Life Flight Eagle in Harrisonville where he learned about their operations. He shared: "Life Flight Eagle in Harrisonville! Good to meet the crew and learn about the daily operations of the LifeFlight Eagle Program. We got to see the team in action, the equipment used, the function of the helo, and the history of the program. Thanks for showing us around, Matt"
