Rep. Mark Alford, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Missouri’s 4th district, recently shared several updates on his social media platform. Alford, who succeeded Vicky Hartzler in 2023, has been active in engaging with constituents and sharing insights into his congressional activities.

On March 7, 2025, Rep. Alford addressed a situation involving his casework team in Jefferson City. He stated "Truth matters and here it is: This NEVER happened." His team had traveled to meet with both Republican and Democrat state-level counterparts to strengthen relationships and better serve constituents. He expressed disappointment that an elected official had misrepresented this effort.

Later that day, Alford invited followers to tune into his program for insights from Washington. In a tweet posted on March 7, he promoted an episode of "Mark Alford’s Capitol Recap," stating "Ever wonder what really happens in Washington? Tune into Mark Alford’s Capitol Recap to find out." The episode promised behind-the-scenes coverage from the House Floor before former President Trump's Joint Congressional Address.

In another update on the same day, Rep. Alford announced the release of a newsletter providing a recap of recent events in Washington. He encouraged people to subscribe by sharing "Newsletter coming to your inbox today! Don’t miss this Capitol Recap of what happened in Washington!"
