Mark Alford, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri's 4th district since 2023, has shared his views on several current issues through recent tweets. Alford, who succeeded Vicky Hartzler, was born in Baytown, Texas, and holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin.

On March 5, 2025, Alford expressed his stance on military conflicts by stating: "Unlike some Progressive Democrats, we don’t want to see five more years of senseless war."

In another tweet on the same day, he celebrated the return of Marc Fogel to the United States: "Good to see Marc Fogel back in AMERICA!"

Later that day, Alford commented on the character of the president with a reference to national leadership: "As we all just heard, we have a selfless president: one who knows his life was saved to Make America Great Again."
