Rep. Mark Alford, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 4th district since 2023, shared his thoughts on several issues through social media posts dated March 4, 2025. Alford, who succeeded Vicky Hartzler in Congress, expressed views on trade and political events while reflecting on recent governmental actions.

In a tweet from March 4, 2025, Alford acknowledged the potential economic impact of altering trade practices with countries like Canada, China, and Mexico. He stated: "We know that not buying from Canada, China, or Mexico will cost us a price increase for goods. Saving 100,000 lives a year is worth paying a little more."

Later that day, Alford expressed gratitude towards the House GOP for hosting an event in anticipation of an address by the President of the United States. He tweeted: "Thank you to @HouseGOP for hosting Media Row today, we are ecstatic for @POTUS' address to the nation tonight!"

In another post from March 4, 2025, Alford commented on President Trump's forthcoming address to the nation. He described it as a significant opportunity to highlight efforts aimed at reducing bureaucratic inefficiencies and prioritizing American interests. His message read: "In just a few hours, President Trump addresses our nation: a pivotal moment to showcase his relentless drive to cut bureaucratic bloat and refocus on American priorities... Since January 20th, he's signed over 75 executive orders—slashing wasteful DEI programs."
