Rep. Mark Alford, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Missouri's 4th district, has recently shared a series of statements via social media on various pressing issues. Alford, who took office in 2023 after replacing Vicky Hartzler, has been vocal about topics ranging from drug trafficking to sports legislation.

On February 5, 2025, Rep. Mark Alford expressed concern over the issue of fentanyl entering the United States from neighboring countries. He stated that "The illegal and illicit fentanyl that is coming to our country from Mexico and Canada is killing more than 300 of our fellow citizens each and every year." He emphasized that even a small increase in the price of ice cream would be worth it if it meant saving American lives.

In another statement made on February 5, 2025, Alford addressed recent legislative actions taken by the House GOP regarding women's sports. He remarked on the passage of H.R. 28 by stating "By passing H.R. 28–@HouseGOP kept our promise to stand up for our females in sports." Alford criticized what he perceives as a distorted reality proposed by Democrats concerning gender presence in locker rooms.

Continuing his support for former President Trump, Rep. Alford posted a brief message on February 6, 2025: "Another victory every day thanks to President Trump!" The tweet reflects ongoing endorsement of Trump's policies and achievements.
