Rep. Mark Alford, who represents Missouri’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, has been actively sharing updates and opinions on his social media platform. Alford, a former journalist and University of Texas at Austin graduate, replaced Vicky Hartzler in Congress in 2023.
On December 11, 2024, Rep. Alford announced that the Fiscal Year 2025 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) had passed. He emphasized its significance by stating "The #FY25NDAA has officially passed and will restore American lethality and ensure the United States remains the greatest force for freedom ever known."
The following day, December 12, he informed his followers about an upcoming appearance on NewsNation's Morning in America program with Markie Martin. In his post, he encouraged viewers to "Tune in!" for the segment airing at 7:30 am ET.
Later that same day, Rep. Alford extended congratulations to Donald Trump via Twitter with a brief message celebrating what he termed as "The Great American Comeback Congrats, @realDonaldTrump!"
