Rep. Mark Alford, who currently serves in the U.S. Congress representing Missouri's 4th district, recently shared his views and support for certain appointments via social media. Born in Baytown, Texas, Alford has been serving since 2023 after succeeding Vicky Hartzler. With a background that includes a BA from the University of Texas at Austin, Alford is actively involved in political discourse.

On December 5, 2024, Rep. Alford commented on the current state of American politics by stating: "People who have been villainized by the deep state and the two tiered justice system are now stepping up to change the course in America. Simply put—the American people have had enough of what has been, and we are loving President Trump’s appointments."

The following day, December 6, 2024, he expressed excitement over Billy Long's new role by posting: "So excited for my friend and former Congressman Billy Long (@auctnr1) and his appointment to head the IRS as Commissioner. Congrats Billy! We know you'll make Missouri proud!"

Later on December 6, he also voiced his support for another presidential appointee with a statement saying: "We know @PeteHegseth is ready to clean out the bloated Pentagon by running a full audit and getting rid of DEI. We are fully supportive of President Trump’s choice to appoint Pete!"
