Rep. Mark Alford, representing Missouri’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress since 2023, has recently taken to social media to express his views on various political and economic issues. Born in Baytown, Texas, in 1963 and currently residing in Lake Winnebago, Alford is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.

On December 5, 2024, Rep. Alford tweeted about fiscal responsibility and government spending: "It’s time for Washington to get spending under control. House Republicans will live up to our promise to go after fraud in the system and make sure those who have already paid into the system receive their benefits."

Later that day, he shared a lighter moment with his followers by posting a tweet expressing anticipation for the weekend: "Thumbs up from Big Red because it’s #AlmostFriday!"

Continuing his discourse on economic issues, Rep. Alford addressed challenges faced by entrepreneurs due to bureaucratic obstacles. He announced new legislation aimed at aiding small businesses: "Government red tape is getting in the way of entrepreneurs’ ability to compete. This is why we introduced the Small Business Technological Advancement Act, helping Main Street America get access to digital advancements."
