Rep. Mark Alford, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Missouri’s 4th District since 2023, has recently shared his views on key political issues via social media. Born in Baytown, Texas, in 1963 and currently residing in Lake Winnebago, Alford is an alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin.

On November 19, 2024, Rep. Alford expressed concerns about the southern border crisis through a post stating that "Our southern border is in crisis. President Trump will fix it." He indicated confidence in Trump's ability to restore security starting January 20th and urged those who should not be present to leave.

Later that day, Alford addressed economic policies by asserting that "Cutting taxes helps families and small businesses, and it grows our economy." He highlighted House Republicans' commitment to extending the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act as a means to provide relief to Americans while eliminating government inefficiencies.

In another statement on November 19th, he emphasized international relations following discussions with King Abdullah II of Jordan. According to Alford's post "Our discussion with King Abdullah II of Jordan (@KingAbdullahII) highlighted the importance of unity in bolstering peace and security during these challenging times." The congressman underscored the significance of strengthening U.S.-Jordan ties for regional stability.
