Cass Regional Medical Center will begin offering new TelePsych services at the Pleasant Hill Medical Clinic starting October 1, 2025. The program aims to increase access to mental health care by providing psychiatric appointments through secure telemedicine technology. Patients can schedule appointments every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The TelePsych services will be led by Dr. Amezcua-Patino, a psychiatrist with over 35 years of clinical and hospital experience. He is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and specializes in psychiatric care for adolescents, adults, and seniors. Dr. Amezcua-Patino is fluent in English and Spanish.
Patients aged 12 and older are eligible for these services. The offerings include medication management, behavioral health support, individualized treatment plans, and culturally sensitive care in both English and Spanish. Areas addressed through TelePsych include depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, adolescent behavioral challenges, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), personality disorders, trauma, grief, domestic violence issues, chronic illness or pain-related mental health concerns, stress management including insomnia, as well as addiction treatment and relapse prevention.
“We are committed to providing our community with comprehensive, whole-person care,” said Chris Lang, CEO of Cass Regional Medical Center. “The launch of TelePsych at Pleasant Hill Medical Clinic allows us to better serve patients who need convenient and reliable access to mental health support.”
