A new leadership team has been established in the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department at Bates County Memorial Hospital. Andrea Davis, RN, has been appointed Supervisor of Cardiopulmonary Rehab after the retirement of Jacque Waite, who led the department for many years. Davis has worked in cardiac rehab since December 2016.
The team also includes Patty Stienbarger, RRT, BS, who is a Pulmonary Rehab Specialist with extensive experience at the hospital, and Heather Haddix, RN, a former float nurse who recently joined cardiac rehab.
According to the hospital, this group collaborates with patients recovering from heart or lung conditions by providing supervised exercise programs and educational support during rehabilitation.
