Cass Regional Medical Center has been recognized as one of the nation’s top 374 cleanest hospitals by Becker’s Hospital Review. This recognition is linked to its 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the HCAHPS Survey. Cass Regional is among nine hospitals in Missouri to receive this accolade.
The rating is derived from data collected between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024, through a Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey. Patients with recent inpatient stays were asked about their experiences, leading to Cass Regional's 5-star cleanliness rating.
Chris Lang, CEO of Cass Regional Medical Center, expressed appreciation for the Environmental Services team: “The skilled work of our Environmental Services team makes it possible to provide excellent patient care. Our staff is dedicated to providing the best environment and care possible for our patients. We’re honored to once again be honored as a top hospital.”
Cass Regional Medical Center operates as a critical access hospital with various units including a medical/surgical unit, an intensive care unit, and a behavioral health unit.
