Rep. Mark Alford, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Missouri’s 4th district, recently shared several updates on social media. His posts addressed legislative actions, weather conditions affecting his constituency, and a milestone event in his tenure.

On June 3, 2025, Rep. Alford emphasized the importance of small businesses to the economy by stating that they are "our economy." He expressed concern that these businesses have been "underserved and frankly undermined" by the government they support through taxes. To address this issue, he announced that "THIS is why @HouseGOP just passed H.R. 789, the Transparency and Predictability in Small Business".

Following severe weather events on June 4, 2025, Rep. Alford provided an update regarding tornado warnings and flash floods impacting Kansas City metro and Lake of the Ozarks areas. He assured constituents that his office is closely monitoring the situation: "We'll be sure to keep you posted on any necessary updates."

Later on June 4, Rep. Alford celebrated reaching a significant milestone with his team: their 100th public event since taking office. Mark Alford has served in Congress since replacing Vicky Hartzler in 2023 and was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963. He resides in Lake Winnebago and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA.
