Rep. Mark Alford, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 4th district since 2023, shared updates from recent engagements in a series of tweets. Alford, who succeeded Vicky Hartzler, provided insights into his meetings and events through his social media platform.

On June 2, 2025, Alford expressed enthusiasm about visiting Fayette where he met Bruce Addison, the founder of Addison Biological Laboratory. He stated "It was great to be in Fayette last week, where we had the opportunity to meet with Bruce Addison, the founder of Addison Biological Laboratory." The company has been producing veterinary products for over five decades and discussed their concerns with him.

Later that day, Alford acknowledged an invitation from local business organizations by tweeting "Thank you to the Columbia & Jefferson City Chambers of Commerce for the invitation to a meet-and-greet with @RepBobOnder, as well as local business & community leaders." The discussion centered around the benefits of legislation known as "One Big, Beautiful Bill," its impact on small businesses and tariffs.

On June 3, 2025, Alford recapped another public engagement via Twitter by stating "98TH PUBLIC EVENT RECAP: Last week, we joined @AFPMissouri and @PeteMundo for a fireside chat to discuss the numerous wins for America and Missouri in the One Big, Beautiful Bill." This event allowed constituents to voice their ideas and concerns directly.

Mark Alford was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently resides in Lake Winnebago. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in 1988.
