Rep. Mark Alford, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Missouri's 4th district, has recently taken to social media to express his concerns regarding the Biden Administration's use of race-based Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) criteria in loan relief programs for farmers. Alford replaced Vicky Hartzler in Congress in 2023 and has been vocal about issues he perceives as unconstitutional.

On June 2, 2025, Rep. Alford tweeted about requesting a report reviewing the Biden Administration's continued use of DEI criteria in loan relief programs for farmers. He emphasized that this practice continues despite a federal court ruling it unconstitutional.

Later that day, at 8:00 PM UTC, Alford reiterated his stance through another tweet, highlighting the need for a review of these practices which he describes as "racist" and unconstitutional. He urged readers to read more on the issue via an attached link.

At 8:31 PM UTC on the same day, Rep. Alford shared his appearance on NewsNation where he discussed what he views as discriminatory practices by the Biden Administration against farmers needing aid. He labeled this reporting as groundbreaking and called for an urgent review of these practices.

Mark Alford was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and resides in Lake Winnebago. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in 1988.
