Jackie Jones has been recognized as the Employee of the Quarter at Cass Regional Medical Center for the first quarter of 2024. The announcement was made by Chief Executive Officer Chris Lang on March 21 during a reception. Jones, an Exercise Specialist and CMA, is part of the Cardiac Rehabilitation team and has been with the medical center for 11 years.

Jones began at Cass Regional as an intern, motivated by her father's heart health issues. She finds fulfillment in witnessing the progress of patients recovering post-heart procedures. A coworker nominated her for the award, stating, “Jackie helps to remember and organize celebrations for birthdays, bosses' day, etc. in our department. She is kind and respectful of others. I see her taking initiative over and over to keep our department goals met and everything running smoothly. She exemplifies excellence and dedication in her work.”

Originally from Rich Hill, Missouri, Jones resides in Butler, Missouri, with her husband, CJ, daughter, McKenzie, and their dog, Teeter. She enjoys playing volleyball and softball in her leisure time.

As a recipient of the award, Jones was granted a paid day off, a designated parking space for the quarter, an Employee of the Quarter pin, a bouquet, and a cake.
