Cass Regional Medical Center Foundation announces scholarship awards for healthcare students

Cass Regional Medical Center Foundation has announced the recipients of its recent scholarship awards, aimed at supporting local students pursuing healthcare degrees.

Brooke Truman from Belton, Missouri, was awarded the Geraldine Kidd Scholarship amounting to $1,500. She is currently working towards a doctorate in physical therapy at Rockhurst University.

Kelsi Mainard of Creighton, Missouri, received the Dr. Harold Kirsch Memorial Scholarship valued at $3,000. Mainard is employed part-time as a technician in Cass Regional’s Emergency Department and is pursuing a master’s degree in speech-language pathology at the University of Central Missouri.

Benjamin Strauch from Adrian, Missouri, was granted the Sonny and Toni Wiseman Scholarship worth $500. He works full-time as a registered nurse in Cass Regional’s Emergency Department while studying for a bachelor’s degree in nursing through Northwest Missouri State University.

Since its inception in 1989, Cass Regional Medical Center Foundation has provided over $240,000 in scholarships to more than 200 individuals striving to reach their educational objectives.
