Missouri is experiencing an increase in respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). Young children and adults 65 and older are most at risk for adverse health outcomes from RSV. Common symptoms include fever, cough, runny nose, and sneezing. In infants, symptoms could present as irritability, lethargy, or poor feeding.
Remember to wash your hands, avoid close contacts with others (especially infants), and cover your coughs and sneezes if you have cold-like symptoms!!
