Of the 942 people living in Drexel in 2019, 50.8 percent (479) were women and 49.2 percent (463) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South KC News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 260-to-253. In the 65 and over age range, there were 128 females and 115 males.
