Beautiful Savior Home ranked third in Cass County nursing home size during Q1 2026

Beautiful Savior Home ranked as the third largest nursing home in Cass County during the first quarter of 2026, based on data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

The facility reported 126 available beds, exceeding Cass County’s average by 11 beds for the same period. Throughout this quarter, the center cared for an average of 84 residents.

The CMS awarded Beautiful Savior Home an overall score of 2 out of 5, which falls below Missouri’s statewide nursing home average of 2.5.

For this period, Sunrise Nursing & Rehabilitation held the top spot in Cass County with 152 beds, followed by Golden Years Center for Rehab and Healthcare, which offered 128 beds.

No fines or penalties were recorded for Beautiful Savior Home during the initial quarter of 2026.

Cass County, Missouri, included eight for-profit nursing homes in total.

U.S. Census Bureau estimates show the nation’s older adult population is increasing while numbers of younger residents are declining. Between 2020 and 2024, Americans ages 65 and over rose by 13%, while the under-18 population decreased by 1.7%. The country’s older adult population has expanded greatly over the last century, growing from 4.9 million in 1920 to surpass 61 million in 2024.

A 2021 analysis found that almost half of individuals in this age bracket—nearly 28 million—could ultimately require long-term services and supports. Furthermore, projections suggest over one-third may at some point need nursing home care.

“Living a long life is something that many of us want and could get,” said Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance. “But when we live a long life, the chances of us needing long-term care increase exponentially. But when you need that type of care, there are limited options.”
